Amphora Aromatics Event

A couple of weeks ago I went to a blogger event at Amphora Aromatics, an incredible aromatherapy and natural skincare company in Bristol. It was a chance to look around the shop, chat to people who work for the company, and get introduced to their new AA Skincare natural beauty range.

The first thing you notice when you walk into Amphora Aromatics is the wonderful smell. It smells like roses and geraniums and earthy herbal scents, and it is so good!

The shop is also an Instagram dream, with a lovely pastel colour scheme, and lots of gorgeously packaged products in boxes and bottles on wooden shelves. It's a beautiful, welcoming shop and definitely seems like somewhere I could browse for ages.

The product range is amazing and extensive, with everything from essential oils and candles, to ingredients for making your own skincare and cosmetics, to luxurious skin care, natural deodorants, and haircare under the AA Skincare brand.

Amphora Aromatic's range of essential oils is huge, and the staff are extremely knowledgeable on the uses and associations for each oil, and can suggest various applications. I definitely want to go back in my own time and explore the witchy options with essential oils.

The AA Skincare line has several different floral and herbal combinations, so there is something suitable for every skin type. Personally I was drawn to their Frankincense & Rose range, which smells absolutely divine, the calming Calendula Moisturising Cream, great for easily inflamed skin, and the perfectly gender neutral scent of the Bergamot & Aloe Natural Deodorant.
The entire range is paraben free, artificial fragrance free, the packaging is recyclable, and they are all made in Bristol, which makes me very happy!

I had such a marvellous time at the event, and am so happy that I discovered this brand.

As well as taking a LOT of samples home (I may have become a little overexcited when I was told to take a many as I wanted), AA were kind enough to gift me a couple of full size products, so look out for reviews in future!

You can visit the Amphora Aromatics shop at 36 Cotham Hill, Bristol, or visit their websites and

  1. I can't wait for your foray into essential oils! I'm currently experimenting with plastic-free things for the bathroom so I'm looking for scent combinations myself, too.
I'm so happy you had a wonderful time!

    1. It was so good! I also had a massage and ate so many gluten free chocolate brownies that I think I am still recovering. I really want to go back and pick up their geranium water, it smells divine and comes in a gorgeous glass bottle that looks like something from an old apothecary.

  2. Oh this place sounds great! I've only recently just discovered what I have been missing out on by not indulging in essential oils sooner so will definitely be bookmarking these two places and this is just another reason for me to come back down South too, haha! Love the look of the packaging as well, and glad you had a good time. - Tasha
