The Last Snowdrop Necklace & Giveaway

Because I love snowdrops so much, I decided to make a little souvenir of their beauty, that would last beyond the short season of their fragile blooms. I decided on a necklace.

It's made from polymer clay, painted with acrylics, and varnished, so it will last considerably longer than the real thing.

Each petal was carefully sculpted by hand, pre-baked and then arranged into the snowdrop shape. It was very much a labour of love! It even has stamens.

But once it was finished, it seemed like perhaps this piece wasn't meant for me to keep. I have decided to do a giveaway, so someone else can enjoy this little piece of eternal Spring. Details of how to enter are in the Rafflecopter widget below. The giveaway runs from now (29/03/2017) until midnight on the 5th April 2017.

  1. What a beautiful necklace! Here in Australia, winters aren't so harsh - I think the thing I love most about spring is the longer days so I can spend more time in my garden.

  2. Oh this is absolutely stunning Polly, how beautiful! I love snowdrops and I think you captured them beautifully here. Love it. Will definitely be entering and hope you get lots of entries and good luck to everyone else! - Tasha

  3. Love spring because of the beautiful flowers and trees that open and display there lovely colors.
