101 in 1001, Rebooted

Back in October, I wrote out and started my first 101 in 1001 list. For a while, I was merrily working my way through the list, and then at some point after the new year it started to feel like a bit of a chore. I'd also forgotten to write update posts on my progress, which was something I wanted to do for myself as much as for the people who read my blog. Looking back through the list, I realised that some of it just wasn't relevant to me any more, and some of it was frankly just too ambitious for me right now. I've been through a lot of personal growth and a lot of changes recently, so some things which were important to me in October have lost their significance for me. I've decided to re-start my 101 in 1001 challenge, as of today.
My list is mostly the same as before, but I've removed anything which relies on other people's involvement (I think this needs to be just about me), anything which requires lump sums of money or foreign travel, and anything that just didn't make my heart joyful any more. I'm now excited about doing this challenge again, and can't wait to get started on ticking things off my list! So here we go:

  1. Good for you! I've made several changes to my list since I started it last September. I think it's a sensible thing to do. Life can change so much over a few years or even a few months. Good luck!
    xx Katie.

  2. It's a good thing to review the list now and then and swap out things that you actually don't want anymore - or just start anew. I had the same problem some time ago and was a bit conflicted about it, but in the end changing it was the best decision.
    Good luck!

  3. This is so cool - I was just watching a YouTube video about flowering tea the other as well, I need to put that on my list! I adore the mermaid tail one too, that is amazing, and being able to swim in it would be even cooler - you'll be a real mermaid Polly! :D - Tasha
