My Trip To Brighton | Day 2

I woke up very excited on day 2 of my trip, because this was the day that I was meeting Emily Cuttlefishlove for the first time in person! We went to a swimming pool for mermaiding, and it was fabulous. Emily was a great teacher and she is such a lovely person! I'm so glad we finally got to meet after talking online for so long.

After a lot of mermaiding, we were hungry, so we headed to Little Bay for lunch. The tables were inside mini theatre boxes, and we could see the sea from where we were sitting, so it was a lovely experience. The food was delicious too, and extremely filling. (Thank you Emily for the picture!)

I took another wander through the streets, briefly popping into the beautiful Brighton Dome to see the Seawomen installation, and then browsing the North Laines. Then I met up with the wonderful Chiaki for dinner and ate a huge piece of cake, which was all I could manage after my gigantic lunch.

Eventually I got hungry again so I went on a late night food and exploring run, finishing up with a short walk on the beach in the dark.

Then it was time to head back for my last night at the hotel, ready for my third and final day in Brighton...for this time at least.

  2. I love Brighton!
Looks like you filled your day with some really cool activities. I wish I could swim so I could take mermaid lessons...

  3. Wow! Mermaiding! I am exceptionally intrigued! :)
I spend the vast amount of my days longing for fins, it's amazing that you got to have a play with a tail ^_^ I'll have to see if we have anything like that in Cornwall :D
You even have Ariel coloured hair ^_^
    Have a beautiful weekend
