OOTD: Warm and Wooly

Continuing in my series of outfit pictures with awkward photos. here's another. This was the first time I got my boyfriend to take the pictures, and I am VERY AWKWARD with people taking posed photos of me. I'm also recovering from a really nasty cold, so I'm still seeking out clothing that feels as much like pyjamas as possible.

This combination fit the bill- a brown knitted dress, with a very oversized brown cardigan over the top. I wore it with cream cable knit tights, brown fleece lined(!) boots, and a brown leather belt to cinch my waist in and stop me looking so much like a large brown jellyfish. Even though it's not the most dressy or flattering outfit, I actually like it. I think it has a hint of lady LOTR dwarf to it, and it was extremely warm and snuggly. Which is just what I wanted. And look, I even managed to smile for a photo!

  1. Sorry to hear that you have not been well.

Your outfit does look really warm and comfy and - like most of mine, from charity shops as well!

Also, there is nothing awkward about these poses - especially the second one

    1. Thank you, I think because I know how I felt when these were taken it's more obvious to me. I'm trying to get more confident in front of the camera!

  3. Awww you look lovely, so cosy and warm for this chillier weather we're getting now too. I can see the LOTR influence too - I love it when outfits get little hints from other characters, books and films, it always makes me smile. Hope you're feeling better soon! - Tasha

    1. Yay, I'm glad the influence shows! I'm often influenced by different books and films when putting outfits together, and when decorating my home :)
