Pretty Treats

As an introvert, I really like online shopping. I can relax and browse things at my own pace from the comfort of my own bed home, find unique products and buy from independent designers or artists, compare prices, and best of all, it all gets sent to me in parcels! I love parcels! I thought I'd share a few treats I bought myself online as rewards for starting a new job.

The first was these adorable goat prints from anglia on tumblr. They were really reasonably priced and the quality is good, and the little goats are just so cute! I love the adventurer goat with hat and knapsack. I'm saving these for when I move house, but I keep getting them out and looking at them because they are so lovely.

As I am a mermaid, I thought it only fitting that I should get this sea shell shaped milk jug and sugar bowl. They also came with a rectangular tray/plate which has shell and seaweed designs. I'm really happy with these, and I've since found the matching teapot and cup, which are on their way to me! I'll do a post with the full set once the other pieces arrive. These were an ebay auction so I'm afraid I don't have a link, but there seem to be similar listings popping up all the time.

After years of lusting after this gorgeous zine of Lilly Piri's work, I finally bought it. There are so many pages of beautiful dreamy fawns and long haired ladies, I absolutely love it. I adore Lilly Piri's art style and wish I could afford her art prints or originals, but this will do for now. It's lovely to look at if I'm having a bad day or feeling a bit uninspired.

Which of the things I bought is your favourite?

  2. I think I'd go woth the zone, I'm really getting into zines at the moment and am always looking out for new ones. Though the shell set is pretty cool as well.

    1. There's another artist called Sibylline who does zines you might like, she does lots of vintage and pin up inspired ladies.

    1. I actually got a teapot from the same set a couple of years ago, but it was cracked and leaked :/ I've wanted the full set for ages so it's going to be so nice to have a proper, non leaking set :D Yes the zine is gorgeous, it's all coloured pencil drawings! I'm in awe of Lilly Piri's blending skills!

  4. Perhaps its coincidence, but I read this post this morning and then this evening while browsing Etsy I stumbled across the salt & pepper shakers that match your cream & sugar set: https://www.etsy.com/listing/192784950/souvenir-of-hawaii-and-florida-sea-shell?ref=shop_home_active_6

So I thought I'd stop by and give you the link. :)
