Bristol is well known for graffiti, especially the pieces created by the mysterious Banksy. He's by no means the only graffiti artist in Bristol though, and I'm really happy that the city embraces street art so much. I think when it is done well graffiti can be a really creative medium which can make a big difference to people's lives, and brighten up urban areas.
North Street in the Bedminster area has some interesting street art, and as I wandered up there in search of a milkshake (which I failed to find) this huge mural of a colourful city scene caught my eye.
Further up the road I was lucky enough to catch a work in progress! I liked the blues and the swirling shapes.
The last piece I saw before I gave up on my milkshake quest and turned back was this beautiful design of foxes. I love this so much! The style is really cute but also interesting, with lots of textures. I like the choices of colour, and it's such a sweet image with the interlinked tails and the heart at the centre.
