Lace Edged Bambi Spot Velvet Bow

A (long) while ago Fantastic Ribbons kindly gifted me some products to use in projects for the blog, one of which was the gorgeous Connie Brown Lace Ribbon. It is a wide brown lace with a floral pattern, and I thought it would go really well with some spotted brown velvet I already had. I decided to make a big bow to pin onto clothing or bags, with the lace gathered and stitched to the edges. I also added another, thinner lace which I already had, but for a similar look you could use Victoria Lace Ribbon.

I sewed a little brooch pin onto the back of the bow so I can attach it to my clothes.

I'm pretty happy with how this turned out and I think the pretty lace edging really adds an extra touch. I think the finished bow has an almost lolita look to it, and could also be used for mori, especially with the colours!

*Fantastic Ribbons sent me the brown lace used in this project in return for me featuring the finished project on my blog. I was not paid to write this post and will not receive any commission if you choose to shop through my links.*
