Here in the Northern Hemisphere, Spring is finally springing! It was the Spring Equinox on Friday and already the change in light levels, warmth and plant life has been noticeable where I live. One of my favourite things about Spring is all of the beautiful flowers-I love the colours and the delicacy of these early blooms, and they help to make Spring one of my favourite seasons (along with Autumn). Indoors I've been enjoying the frothy fairy skirts and divine scent of some Bridal Crown narcissi,
along with a cheerful pot of tete a tete, which I like to refer to as "tiny daffodils". They have really been brightening up my days, watching the petals unfurl a little more with each day has brought so much joy!
Outdoors I have spotted crocuses, including this gorgeous striped specimen...
more tete a tete, opening a little more slowly as it's chillier outside than in my window!
gorgeous blue scylla,
and colourful Jerusalem cowslips with their funny furry leaves.
I really want to make the most of this Spring-taking lots of photos in the lovely sunlight, going for walks, and hopefully getting some seeds planted. My biggest aim is to walk in a bluebell wood again as that was so magical last year!
Do you have any plans for Spring?
