Tabitha Panter's display at Off the Canvas really caught my eye, with this inspirational felt banner.
Her work focused on the bones of giants, and had nods to archaeology with the gloves, felt trowel, and drawer full of earth.
I really liked her felt bones and I can imagine her work being used as illustrations for children's story books, or for more surreal adult fiction. The use of the soft felt makes her work seem very approachable somehow, and I like her stylised shapes.
Off the Canvas is at F block gallery, UWE Bower Ashton campus, Bristol. You can read my overview of the exhibition here.
