I went for a walk across the fields today. I didn't go very far but it was lovely to be outside. The weather was beautiful, sunny but not too hot, and there were wildflowers blooming everywhere. I was very happy to (almost literally) stumble across some bluebells. It was good to have time alone to think, and I found the more wooded areas at the edges of the fields quite inspiring. I am really feeling the need to spend more time outside now that the weather is better. I'm even considering packing up my work and some snacks and just heading off to sit in a field or a park for a few hours each day, drinking in the sunshine while I can.
