I'm trying to get outside more when the weather is good, even if it's just to hang laundry or look at the garden for a few minutes. The sunshine was glorious this afternoon, so I took a little time to photograph the many lovely flowers and plants which are springing up all over the place. I really like the cottage-y, slightly worn, laid back garden here-ferns growing from walls, moss between stones, primroses growing where they please. The beautiful acer is back in leaf, and this year I shall get round to taking some outfit pictures with it. I'm always fascinated and enchanted by the raspberry pink, heart shaped flowers of love lies bleeding, especially as it is so fleeting. There's one planted in the garden but I was pleased to see that my smaller potted one, which I was pretty sure had died, has recovered and has stems dripping with flowers.
I feel like I'm finally getting the hang of this camera, and I'm starting to get the kinds of photos I always dreamed of. This makes me very happy. I can see a Spring and Summer of very happy snapping ahead.
