As it was so sunny yesterday afternoon, I went on a spur of the moment walk with my boyfriend. It proved the perfect opportunity to practice with my new camera.
I wasn't really in the mood for a longer walk in the woods, so we just went along a cyclepath and through some quiet streets to a small park with lovely views.
It was lovely to see so many buds on the trees, flowers popping up from the ground, and blossom everywhere.
I was intrigued by this twisty willow tree in someone's garden. It looked like it was straight from a willow pattern plate!
I saw my first pink cherry blossom of the year!
We also came across a stunning damson tree, absolutely swathed in blossom. It smelled divine, and the very delicate white flowers created an almost lacy effect. Gorgeous.
