For my mum's birthday, I crocheted her a heart garland. The pattern for the hearts is here and I just did a simple chain to join them all together. I think it looks very cute and rustic! I'm still learning crochet, but these hearts are quite a simple and quick project to do if you know how to do a chain, double crochet and treble crochet. I think they would also look pretty on cards, as a decoration on a wrapped gift, or as an applique on clothes. I am going to try something a bit more ambitious next time, as I got given a book on crocheted and knitted flowers for Christmas and I really want to make some of the designs!
