Stitches In Time Exhibition

I was lucky enough to catch the last day of the "Stitches In Time" Exhibition at Radstock Museum-a display of work by local needlecraft groups, interspersed with some comparable items from the museum's collection. It was incredible. I will let the photos speak for themselves, but if you are interested to look at more of these artist's work, I have put a list of credits at the bottom of the post.

Falconry Day

On Wednesday I went to the American Museum for their annual falconry day.

I also went last year, but I think this year was even better! For one thing, it didn't rain, so watching the falconry was much more enjoyable and the birds were able to display better.

And, I got to hold a barn owl! It was rather appropriate as I was wearing a dress with owls on.

After looking at the birds we went for a little walk through the grounds.

It was a really lovely day, I can't wait for the Christmas events at the Museum now. Thank you to Harry for all the photos of me and the photo of the Harris hawk. All of the birds we saw were from Ray Prior Falconry.
